What we fix
Bags and purses
Straps, zippers, linings, hooks and hardware. Handbags, backpacks, and the suitcase with the broken zipper. Most bag repairs are done in a day or two.
Belts and leather goods
Extra holes, shortening, restitching, and repairs on jackets, watch straps, dog leashes, and whatever else is made of leather.
The small stuff
Key copies, watch batteries, and scissor and knife sharpening. Quick jobs happen at the counter, often while you wait.

- Bring it in. No appointment. The counter is where every job starts.
- We look it over with you. You get a price and a pickup day before we touch it. If it isn’t worth repairing, we’ll say so.
- Pay when you drop off. We work in cash, paid up front. No checks.
- Keep your claim ticket. Every job gets one. Hand it back and walk out with your shoes.

Every repair is priced by the job, so a heel tip and a full resole cost what they each actually take.

The man at the counter
His full name is Gevork Boladjian, but Eagle Rock has called him George for more than forty years. He opened this shop in 1980 and has run it himself ever since, one pair of hands and a wall of tools.
George will tell you the truth about your shoes. When a repair is worth it, he does it so it lasts. When it isn’t, he hands them back and tells you to spend your money on something better. That honesty is why the same families have been walking through the door for decades.
Come in for a repair and stay a few minutes. He’s funny.

Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in any time we’re open, Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM.
How long does a repair take?
Small jobs like a key copy or a belt hole often happen while you wait. Most shoe and bag repairs are ready in a day or two. You’ll get a pickup day when you drop off.
How do I pay?
Cash, paid when you drop off. We don’t take checks. There’s a bank with an ATM right next to us in the plaza.
Where do I park?
The plaza at 2161 Colorado Blvd has its own small lot, and there’s street parking on Colorado. Look for suite 108.
Do you only do shoes?
Shoes are the heart of it, but leather is leather. Bags, belts, jackets, luggage, dog leashes. We also copy keys, change watch batteries, and sharpen scissors and knives.
